The H145 is powered by two Safran Arriel 2E turboshaft engines, each managed by a dual full-authority digital engine control (FADEC). The Arriel 2E delivers 20% more power than the previous generation engine fitted to the EC145, with a promoted takeoff power of 894 shp per engine. High TBO intervals and an evolved maintenance concept with usage monitoring keep operating costs low and aircraft availability high.
